Advertising Rates 2004

ABOUT AGR

Asheville Global Report is a free weekly newspaper distributed in Western North Carolina and beyond. We cover news that is underreported by mainstream media, including news of grassroots activism, human rights, labor, and the environment. AGR is a 501-c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing our community with information about local, national, and international events and issues.
Our advertising deadline is 6pm every Monday for publication on Thursday. We accept camera-ready copy, and we also offer free, no-frills ad design. You may change your ad as often as you like. You may submit ads by mail, email, or in person at 20 Battery Park Ave., 5th floor.

HOW TO READ THE RATES

The chart below indicates the cost for five different ad sizes, and five different contract lengths. If you want to place your ad once, twice, or three times, you will pay the amount indicated under “1 placement,” in advance, for each placement. Longer contracts bring you a discount. If you want to place your ad four times, you will pay the “total” amount indicated under “4 placements,” in advance. For contracts longer than 4 placements, you do not need to pay the full amount in advance (although you may if you wish). You can pay for one month in advance, and then we will send you quarterly bills. The “per month” amount on the chart is your average monthly cost; we will bill you for the actual number of placements each month (usually 4, sometimes 5).
